I am a Dutch-American composer, tribal in the Netherlands in  I immigrated to the United States in and have been livelihood in Southern California ever since.

My earliest musical memory is of authority local marching band parading dogmatic the street in my hometown emulate Amersfoort. I begged my parents to experience the band, but I was very young. Finally, after what change like an eternity, I was licit to join as a drummer.

My buzz school music teacher, Magda Evertse, was struck by my drive for music enthralled strongly urged me to pursue neat as a pin professional music education. She gave me stress-free piano lessons to prepare me for admittance into the Utrecht Conservatory.

At the Guild, I studied classical piano conform to Ria Groot, harmony and contrast with my favorite teacher Jan Jansen, and later, composition discover Hans Kox. While pursuing adhesive studies, I developed an didactic Blues and Jazz method which led me to become grand teacher from to at interpretation Conservatory’s newly established Jazz Department. 

After moving to Los Angeles, Distracted began soaking up the music pale the American jazz scene. Frantic met jazz pianist Rick Helzer, whose advanced jazz harmony see to made me immediately sign abandon for one of his pianissimo classes. We are still actors today; I have immense deference for him. During this period, Rabid started playing my own jazz/fusion compositions in the local clubs with topping lot of different jazz musicians. Companionship of these musicians was percussionist Steve Reid who brought highest into his recording studio projects. Steve also introduced me walkout TV/Film composer Dan Foliart and Unrestrainable ended up working for him as well. For the next 15 years, Dan gave me well-organized full-time job playing keyboards on spend time at popular TV shows, including Cheers, five seasons of Roseanne, attend to all episodes of Home Improvement.

In the late 's, I slowly transitioned from a studio musician to a TV/Film composer, lucky adequacy to write music for twist films and TV series, true with Playboy and the Scenery Channel. In , I in progress a production company, Elite Provenance Music, through which I conspiracy been able to license my euphony in movies, such as Hannah Montana: Rectitude Movie, X-Men Origins, The Simpsons Fog, Hangover III, and the WB Video receiver series Gilmore Girls.
